Lately I have been challenged to put my Christian Education and Divinity education to work by writing about my observations about the Holy Bible. The first fruits of that effort is a book, The Bible as Truth: Musings about Evolution, Jesus, Hell and Salvation.

In it, I try to answer questions that are prompted by our society’s understanding of the world around us, such as whether or not the Bible is “scientific” compared to the theory of evolution. Other questions revolve around whether it is historically accurate and whether its message is relevant to our current times.
After a brief tour of the books of the Bible and their main ideas I discuss what the fuss about Jesus Christ is all about, and why we need to believe in him. From there I start to deconstruct some of the traditional but unbiblical ideas that most of Christianity has about salvation, heaven and hell.
If you want to see why evolution fails as science and why you need Jesus Christ, you can order it direct from the publisher, Advantage Book Publishers, of from Amazon in Canada or the U.S.A. or from Barnes and Noble in the U.S.A.
