N.T. Wright on the Holy Spirit

Today at our fellowship meeting I did something a little unusual. I read, verbatim, an address by N.T. Wright from 2005. He spoke at the inaugural Fulcrum Conference in Islington April 29. We found his take on how the Holy Spirit within us makes each Christian and each Christian church a place where heaven meets earth enlightening and just a little bit overwhelming.

Here is the text of his address, which I read with a minimum of editorializing.
